RAINBOW STEEL BAND-BAS AWARDS 2005

 

 

 

Rainbow Steel Band came together with steel bands from all around the UK/Europe at the annual BAS awards to celebrate the achievements of individual players/bands over the last year.
Rainbow Steel Band was proud to be presented with an award for 50 years of music. and celebrated with band member Hallam Ifill, who received an Achievement award!

HALLAM’S LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT-50 YEARS 2005

 

Congratulations to Hallam on receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award! It was a double celebration for Rainbow Steel Band, who were also honoured with an award marking 50 years as the oldest continuously running steel band in England.

The UK Steelpan Tuners Guild was established on 4th November 2007, with Toussaint receiving his Master Tuner Certificate alongside fellow tuners. Well done!

HALL OF FAME 2014

 

 

 

 

 

The Hall of Fame is the highest honour attainable, and Hallam earned this distinction in 2014.

RAINBOW STEEL BAND-BAS AWARDS 2015

 

 

In 2015, Rainbow reunited with steel bands from across the UK at the annual BAS Awards to celebrate the achievements of individual players and bands over the past year. The band was proud to receive an award recognising 60 years of music and celebrated alongside member Toussaint Clarke, who was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

TOUSSAINT CLARKE - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT 2015

Ten years after Hallam received his Lifetime Achievement Award, Toussaint was honoured with his own, presented by Pepe. 2015 proved to be an exceptional year for Rainbow, also marking their 60 Years of Music Award.
